Your first clip

The two-minute version
Sign in, accept the Terms, land on /app. The big textarea is the composer. Type what you want — a single sentence is fine. Pick an aspect ratio (9:16 for Reels/TikTok, 1:1 for feed, 16:9 for YouTube). Click Generate.
About 30 seconds later the clip appears in the feed on the right. Click it to play, hover to download, or drag it into a Project to build a multi-scene piece.
What makes a good prompt
- Start with a shot type: 'Tracking shot of…', 'Close-up on…', 'Low-angle POV of…'.
- Specify lighting and mood: 'warm golden-hour backlight', 'overcast, high-contrast'.
- End with a clear subject + action: 'a woman in a denim jacket pouring oat milk into cold brew, handheld, cinematic depth-of-field'.
- Skip brand names and identifiable people — moderation will reject both.
If the first result isn't right
Click Enhance prompt (3 credits) to have clipt rewrite your prompt into a Seedance-friendly shot description. Or regenerate with a slightly different angle. The same prompt produces a different clip every time — Seedance is non-deterministic by design.
Once you land on a prompt + settings you like, save it as a Skill: open the Skills tab, "Save current prompt." Future clips with the same recipe are one click away.
